A recent article titled, “Late summer gardening tips,” notes that “…heat is no excuse for ugly flower beds,” and offers suggestions for gardeners to work in the cooler hours of the day, drink lots of fluids and take frequent breaks.
In tackling the flower beds the article states, “…nurseries are full of exciting colorful plants…” and “It is still worth the investment to purchase and plant summer flowers...”
